Greetings,

I am looking at buying a MIDI USB Foot Controller and I was wondering if I can ASSIGN a function like TOGGLING between Tracks with a Foot Controller.   There are TWO that are in the market and one works fine with Ableton LIVE.  That way my Roli Seaboard can play a SAX in one session and a viola in another.   I simply cannot click my screen fast enough to move between tracks.

ALSO ... Is there procedures on how to assign a foot controller is it is possible with Studio One 3.5.  You may even consider one foot controller better than the other and I would be curious to know which one works with Studio One 3.5.

Please Advise.

There is a Previous and Next Track command that is set by default to the UP and DOWN QWERTY Arrows.

However, these commands can be MIDI learned from Via Control link and mapped to MIDI controller.

A quick gif showing how those commands are mapped and how they will allow you to do previous and next track selection.

Here is a article on that: http://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/210040403-MIDI-Transport-Control-Assignment-MIDI-Learn
