Is there an easier way to change note duration of a note already inscribed other than:

1. Selecting the note duration needed

2. Selecting the note that is already inscribe that you want to change

3. Clicking on the note with the new duration value.

With multiple notes that needs to be changed, for experimentation or for correction, there should be a faster way through a keyboard shortcut for example.

Yes!

(1) Click on the note with the mouse pointer to select the note . . .

(2) Press the equal sign key ("=") . . .

(3) Press the "h" key . . .

As soon as you press the "h" key, the selected quarter note will change to a half note . . .

This works for a single note or a series of notes. It's indicated in the last box in the Notes and Rests Shortcuts (taken from the Shortcuts help guide of the manual.
