Will upcoming new version of Studio One (4?) be optimized for very high core count AMD Threadripper and Intel i9 CPUs?

Currently I am awaiting for AMD and Intel to release all their new high end CPUs to build a new machine. I will heavily use Studio One and want to make the best decision here. I am most concerned with stability, drop outs, latency, interface controllers, etc. I want to make sure my machine will be able to run Studio One smoothly. Can anyone shed light if Studio One will be optimized to take full advantage of 12-16 core CPUs, or should we stick to 4-8?

Thanks,

Hi George,

Employees are never authorized to speak about what may related to future features or future plans and as of yet there is no Studio One 4.   In that regard, anyone who would be informed enough to perhaps know those types of things would never answer this type of question here and those who might try to answer wouldn't really know, would be guessing.

All you can do is wait for version 4, whenever it shows up, and try the demo on your machine.
