hi,

i have recently acquired a faderport. however the punch recording seems to be a major issue. i cannot get it to punch record without setting pre-roll within pro tools which is exactly what i was trying to escape doing by buying the faderport. such an irony. hopefully it's just me and not this piece of hardware. please help, how do i set it up to punch record with my footswitch (without messing around setting pre and post roll times on the computer)? thanks

Not an answer, but I have the exact same problem. The record punch worked for a little while and then started to be intermittent. Now the record button does not work at all. I would also like to know how to get the punch in & out with a footswitch. Thanks...........
