Hi there!

Wanting to get my musical composing up a notch, I decided to migrate from GarageBand to Presonus (since the new project I'm in requires to work with at least 48000 khz sample rate and GB doesn't do it).

I recently installed the latest version of PreSonus Studio One 3 and bought the ReWire extension in order to migrate all the virtual instruments and plugins that have been installed as Audio Units on my mac.

When I opened Studio One, I could only see the effects. No instrument shows up and that's what I wanted to keep.

Have I done anything wrong? Is it supposed to work this way... or not? COuld I be able to ask for a refund if I cannot import my favorite instruments from GB?

Any help would be truly appreciated!

Here are my specs

  • Apple Mac Mini Late 2012 Intel Core i7
  • OSX Sierra 10.12.4
  • Studio One 3.5.2.46603
  • AKAI EIE Pro

Hi,

Garageband instruments cannot be loaded into Studio One as far as we are aware.   If you purchased Studio One Professional, you actually shouldn't need them, as Studio One Pro has very high quality instruments.
