Hi!

How can I have the tempo follow the tracks when I move them around in Studio One 3? Say that I have some tracks with drums, bass and guitar. And I have different tempos for say, vers and chorus. I've changed the tempo accordingly above in the "Tempo" area. Later on I figure out that I want to write a pre-chorus in a completely different tempo than both verse and chorus. How can I move the chorus forward and have the tempo "follow the tracks" so that I don't have to first move the tracks, and the go up and move the tempo. I hope I'm making myself understood, haha.

Another scenario would be that say that I'm running my live set with 10 songs in one project with midi instruments and a click together with audio backing tracks. They all have to line up to a tempo and most of the songs are in different tempos and with tempo changes in them. But I want to move song #5 to be song #2 in the setlist. How can I select all tracks in song #5, including the tempo, and drag it over to song #2 and have it there?

I've done this in, hrmmprotoolshrmmm, ;-) using the "shuffle" feature and was hoping I could do this in Studio One.

Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance!

/Johan

Hi,

Use the Arranger Track and arranger blocks as shown below in the animated GIF.  Those allow re-arranging and rippling while taking everything with it including the tempo.
