I have a Dell XPS 8700 PC system on Windows 10 (24GB Ram, i-7 processor)... I want to get a control surface for Studio One and I really like what StudioLive CS18AI has to offer... but I'm a newb at this Ethernet connection stuff (What ever happened to simple USB anyway?). So, from what I understand, I can connect the StudioLive CS18AI directly to the ethernet card on my Dell with a CAT5 or CAT6 cable and magically that will allow me to control Studio One with the StudioLive CS18AI????? Help! Don't wanna buy an $1100 piece of equipment before I can get this answer.
