Question

I have the same issue. My universal controller is up to date (just downloaded it from the website) i have also run check for updates and I'm up to date. How do I update the firmware? It is greyed out

From the screen cap in your previous post, it doesn't appear that your device is fully connected.

When I open UC, it also shows all the current settings along with which device is open.

Another question is have you signed in? Under the file menu, there's a place to sign in to your presonus account.

 I wonder if that's what is preventing you from checking firmware.

Mine looks like this when I'm fully connected, and none of the choices are grayed out.

Hi, don't understand why Universal Control ask me to update the firmware, although the version is right updated and the option "Update firmware" is not available...

Someone can say me what to do?

My Mac is on High Sierra 10.13.3, yesterday last update...but Universal Control requested the update even before I updated High Sierra...

Ok...discovered that Universal Control ask me to update the device firmware every time my Mac goes in stop...so, what does mean? My Audiobox seems working well, even when UC ask for the updating, which I cannot do because it is updated...

Is it something that I can adjust with the preferences of my Mac?

Can someone please answer this - I have the same problem.

I have the permanent message "PLEASE UPDATE DEVICE FIRMWARE!".

The update firmware button is greyed out.

I have the latest software.

I have tried uninstalling the universal control and reinstalling it from the website.

I am running High Sierra 10.13.4

Does anyone from Presonus read these?

I had the same issue. I could fix it by setting the "Mix" to "FOH" on UC-Control.
