While messing around in Guitar Rig I powered off the Loop Machine (a component in Guitar Rig). My volume suddenly went low and I began hearing a clean tone along with my distorted tone. I tried turning the Loop Machine in Guitar Rig back on but this did not restore the volume. I've messed with the Mixer knob on the AudioBox and this didn't help the problem. I tried full Inputs and full Playback but the low volume and clean tone persists.
I'm using Guitar Rig 5 both standalone and as a plugin in Studio One. The strange thing is that guitar tracks recorded before this problem are fine. I can even play on that track and it sounds fine. If I try to add a new track these problems pop up.
Now I can hear a clean tone from the AudioBox even when Guitar Rig or Studio One aren't even on. This was never the case before. I've changed no hardware or software. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both AudioBox software and Guitar Rig 5 but nothing is resolving this problem. I've tried switching USB ports and I'm plugged directly into the back of my PC on a USB 2.0 port. No front hub or extension cords.
I'm running Windows 7 64bit with the latest drivers, all up to date. Please help.
