I am wanting to connect two Presonus Series iii console mixers.  I was hoping to go direct from one to the other via a cat 5, and share the inputs in a way that I can do a completely separate mix for our live broadcast.  Is this now possible witih v1.7 firmware?  If not, is it planned for the future?  Or, something similar.  Thank you.

It would depend on whether your inputs are analog or over AVB from a stage box.

- If your inputs are analog, there is no way to do it and have independent gains on the 2nd console. The send would be after the preamp of the 1st console. So if you adjust the gain on the first console, it will affect the 2nd console.

- If your inputs are over AVB from an NSB stage box, you could assign both consoles to listen to the same input streams of the NSB. The preamps are built into the NSBs. So you would have to set the permissions as to which console should have control over the preamp. It could be either console or both. Whichever you use, you would need to make sure your FOH guy and your broadcast guy communicate and set the gains beforehand. Gains shouldn't be adjusted unless both guys are aware.
