I recently got a studiolive 16 series 3.

And my friend heard that can record to external HDD. But I could not find any information about recording to external HDD via USB and build a path to the other way than SD card.

Also I couldn't find Studiolive 16 Series 3  USB type A port for connect USB storages, so it's OK to use storages(such as USB, external HDD) with Gender that change from type B to type A?

The Series III mixer can not record to an external HD connected via USB.

You need to use Studio One/Capture or a compatible DAW to record.

You can also use the on board SD card for recording.

Lastly, there is recording via AVB for AVB enabled computers.
