i like that i can open an instance of Impact along with a preset, but i would also like to be able to open the FILE BROWSER and ADD a sample to impact pads with my ATOM . So say i was to:
press setup.....
hit the browser pad....
use the third knob to change the INSTRUMENT browser tab to the FILE browser tab....
Scroll up and down with the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons
Open or close a folder with my own personal drum samples by pressing "LEFT" and "RIGHT" buttons
Have a button or pad on ATOM mapped to the PLAY PREVIEW in the file browser
When i find a sound i like, i would exit SETUP mode and click on a pad.....
Then could press the SELECT button on the ATOM and load that sample onto the selected pad.
If i choose a folder and i press the SELECT button i would like to add the contents of the folder with the first (up to) 128 samples
this way i can quickly make my own drum kits from my own personal sample library and save them as presets for later use.
also i would like to use the 3rd and 4th knob to change sample starting and end points of the selected pad within impact.
