Question

Hi guys,

i own a SL 32 series 3 which installed in my studio, never on the road. I also use a analog summing box which can handle up to 40 channels. Now my plan is to exrend the 16 flex mix outputs to 32 by adding a studiolive 32r and connect it to the board via avb and to the router for control via UC.

This will be my studio scenario.

The rack unit also will replace my ********* x32 as a live mixer, so the board can stay in the studio.

Will that scenario work?

There are two answers:

1) Adding a 32R does NOT expand the number of (physical) flex mixes. Only a SL 64S has 32 flex mixes, which would need two 32R or several stageboxes...
