Question

I was working with Faderport 8 and Studio 192 for a year, both of them were working fine and it really helps me when recording and sound reinforcement.  I'm wondering if Faderport 8 can work with Studio 192 (just the fader control the Fader in Studio 192's software mixing console) would be much wonderful.

The FaderPort series is not capable of controlling Universal Control at this time. Only Studio One in the native Studio One mode, Pro Tools in HUI mode, and other DAWs such as Cubase, Logic, and Ableton in their respective MCU modes.

Other DAWs may also utilize the MCU protocol and for those DAWs it is recommended to use the Logic MCU mode as it is the closest to the standard Mackie MCU functionality.
