Still, PC does NOT recognize the Presonus sound card.
Any idea how to resolve this issue?

The FireStudio 2626 is an End of Life product.  This means that it has not been manufactured, sold nor supported in many years.  There are no drivers that support these products on current computer systems.

However you may find available drivers and supported systems here.
