VBAudio Cable issue

After one of the windows update my VBaudio cable has stopped functioning.

The issue is that after setting my microphone to be listened on by the cable input the cable output does not receive it (ie it does not go through to cable output)

I have also noticed that this is only the case for listening devices not if an audio source is being streamed to cable input directly (in which case it does go through to output)

However when talking in the microphone I do see the green bars go up next to cable input, it just as I said doesn't go through to cable output.

Hi,

you may check all Windows parameters related to the VB-CABLE
- in the Sound Dialog Box / advanced -> Mute / Gain
- in the volume mixer.
- in the privacy settings related to microphone / camera too...

Perhaps you can try the following steps to troubleshoot some of the more common, well-fixed problems:
1. Restart your computer.
2. Check the audio settings.
3. Update the VB-Audio Cable driver.
4. Reinstall the VB-Audio Cable.
5. Test with a different application.
If none of the above steps resolve the problem, it is recommended that you contact VB-Audio support for further assistance.
