Question

I was wanting to know some stage box setup options to for the 32sc. From reading the manual the max inputs are 32 channels over AVB, but you can have up to 56 output/send channels through AVB if I am correct on how I read the manual. My question is would I have to just buy several stageboxes to get close to the 56 AVB sends and then have a bunch of unusable input channels. Seems like there should be stageboxes that are just output sources.

It's 64x64 AVB streams nowadays and you can route any bank (8 sends) to additional stageboxes to expand the limit of 16 flex mix and 2 main mix outputs. It's possible to route the fixed subgroups to external stageboxes as well as all input channels (including Aux In etc.) and duplicates of the 16 flex mixes, which can be aux, matrix or subgroup. Nevertheless, the number of inputs can not be extended. The mixer will always be a 32 channel mixer.
