I am beginning to set up a stagebox setup between our SL 24.4.2 AI console and RM32AI. I'm not quite ready to connect the two, as we haven't ran the cat5 or anything yet, but I thought I would install the AVB option card and update the firmware on the SL 24.4.2 AI first to make sure I work out any kinks before next service.
THE ISSUE:
I typically have my SL 24.4.2 AI connected to my network router via cat5 to be able control it remotely using UC on my iPad. But, after I installed the new AVB option card, the console no longer recognizes the wired connection to the router. I also don't have a working wireless USB dongle, so that is not an option either. This poses a problem as my current set up has the console at the stage, hence needing my iPad to mix at FOH. Is there something I am doing wrong?
