Macbook pro 2011 17 in. El Capitan

Novation Audio Hub - current driver.

Notion Version 5.2.380 32 bit

I have a cello part that does not respond to dynamics placed below the staff. It DOES respond to dynamic markings placed above the staff. Very odd. This include normal markings (f, ff, p, mf, etc.) as well as crescendo /diminuendo markings.

Is this a bug? Any way to fix?

(This came from Notion tech support - solved the problem for my score -I found I had inconsistently added dynamic markings to the score. It is easist to see when you look at the part on its own)

Notion will only read dynamic markings when placed below the staff or above the staff, but not both. Once you enter a dynamic marking above a staff, the program will no longer read dynamic markings that are placed below the staff. As a rule of thumb, I usually put all of my dynamic markings below the staff. If you have any problems, please feel free to send me your score and I'd be happy to take a look.
