I recorded a lead vocal on two identical tracks in Studio One 4. I went to move one section of the vocals into an empty space in the other identical track and get no signal, no sound, and no indication that the track is there outside of the visual representation of it on the screen.
The audio directly surrounding the section in the same track plays just fine, but the section in question is silent. The manual volume controls within the software are not fluctuating at all and haven't been messed with; everything looks and behaves exactly as if the section of audio didn't exist.
But when I move it back to its initial position within its original track, the audio plays back normally. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice?
