Question

If I was to buy a Quantum 26x32 TB 2 audio interface, could I use it as an audio input expansion for another brand audio interface (ie a UAD Apollo x6 TB 3 which would be the main audio interface connected to my Mac) via ADAT?

Or would it be better to run the two audio interfaces as an aggregate device in Mac OS, or would that add unnecessary audio latency?
