I am attempting to connect an Inspire 1394 to a Mid 2015 MacBook Pro running OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra). There is a Thunderbolt 2 input on the MAC but no firewire input. My understanding is I need an Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter to make the connection. I will be using the audio setup to record to Garageband. Before I purchase the adapter, I want to confirm that this setup will be compatible with the Mac. I’m concerned because I see some indication on the PreSonus website that there may be some compatibility issues with OS after 10.7. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
