Input Gain Is Higher Than Actual When Importing

Hey all, on a current song I'm working on it seems like all wav/audio I bring into the song that is normalized to 0db is clipping at about +6db on the channel. I've checked when importing the same audio to other projects and it's just fine. The audio is from pretty well regarded sample packs so they're typically always at 0. This requires me to trim the input by 6db which is annoying with all the tracks I'm working in. I'm wondering if I'm missing something or if this is a known bug?

Conversely if there's any sort or way to clear cached data. I have plenty of group busses that are fine and it seems to have proper gain when bringing in new VST instruments as well, and like I mention it just seems to be this one project...

I'm a years old Cubase vet and I've only been using Studio One for the last few months so I may be missing something as well. Any help would be great!
