Question

Trying to connect the  audiobox 96 to ipad using lightning camera adapter which I ordered specifically for this but it still does not work.

 Error - ipad displays the PreSonus needs too much power.   
The lighning camera adapter also has a power supply and I am connecting it to the wall power socket. I see that as the requirement to supply power and connect ti ipad .

Still getting the error.  Audiobox 96 requires too much power. Is it compatible at all ?

Hi,

I've not used the Audiobox 96, but other interfaces like Focusrite Scarlett. Same problem as yours.

The only way I got it to work is with an USB hub between the lightning->usb adapter/camera connection kit and the interface. It has worked with powered and sometimes even un-powered hubs on different apple devices.

I don't think the power supply that goes to the adapter increases the limit of current the iPad is "willing" to provide to the connected interface.
