Can someone please let me know whether you can use both the StudioLive32 Series 3  (blue version which I already own) and a Faderport 16 (or 8)  simultaneously to control studio one. I.e both running in DAW mode controlling the same instance of S1. I know it sounds overkill but would really help having both as an integrated system due to the shape of my room and positioning of my keyboards. Aware that I could probably use an iPad over Universal Control however I'd rather use physical sliders.  If it is possible I'm presuming they would have to show the same bank of sliders at the same time.

I also would like to switch the Faderport over at times into MIDI CC mode for controlling Kontakt whilst leaving the Studiolive running DAW mode.

Whilst I've been able to achieve the former using a Korg Nanokontrol Studio, I find that's too unstable which I think is due to it not having it's own power supply and connecting via bluetooth.

I've searched this forum and the general internet however can't find any answers to this.  Running a Windows 10 system and Studio One 4.5 Professional.

Thankyou

I don't have the answer but I do have a similar need. I really like using a foot pedal with the Faderport 8 that I have for starting and stopping recording, punching in, etc. I have a 32SC coming and will be using that but would like to keep the foot pedal functionality.

Good news as since posted the question took the plunge and recently bought a Faderport 16 and have it running well alongside StudioLive 32 which I use in DAW mode. So of course fader movements, mute, solo etc are all replicated

Tested the foot pedal functionality earlier today (linked to the Faderport 16 of course) and seem to work as expected. Haven't had any issues so far although I do see a bug on the mute icons lighting up in Studio One 5. However will test on a separate system as expect that an issue with the new DAW software, and nothing to do with the hardware. Tracks are muted as expected, but not always shown in the arrange window view as expected.

Incidentally I also hooked up my Korg Nanokontrol Studio and using the jog wheel on that too at the same time. Linked up using the Mackie Control. Will probably sell the Korg as it's not that stable over Bluetooth,  but it all seems possible

Hi!

Happy to hear you managed to use both the StudioLive 32 mixer and the FaderPort 16 at the same time for StudioOne.

Did you manage to control the mixer with the FaderPort? So it replicates? I would like to control the StudioLive mixer from the FaderPort

Thank you!! :)
