The easiest way to insert an Instrument on an Instrument Track is by pressing "Instruments Browser" while in Inst mode on SQ, then use the knob next to the screen to select the next / previous plugin. Once selected, press the corresponding button for "Load Selected" on the SQ. You can also dive into or back out of folders using the Open or Close Folder corresponding buttons. If you wish to just create an Instrument track WITHOUT an instrument preloaded (or add a Duplicate Track command), you would have to assign the command to one of the user buttons in SQ's User mode.
