I have a suggestion to improve the loop area. Unfortunately, it is often difficult to define exactly the edges of the area. I have tried a lot with the settings. But the surface is very poor in contrast. It is hard to see the borders. How about vertical thin strokes on the left and right edges to mark the boundaries?
