STUDIO 1810c huge random cracking noises and after about 3 mins of recording significant latency (cca. 3 seconds!!!??)

Using a 32 GB 2019 Apple MacBookpro with all latest Logic Pro and OS X STUDIO 1810c produces huge random cracking noises during recording and after about 3 mins of recording significant latency joins this problem (cca. 3 seconds!!!?? of latency). The same setup, guitars etc. all works fine with Jam+

What is wrong with my STUDIO 1810c?
