Just bought the Studio Live 32 from a guy on Facebook market place.  Everything seems in order except for the fact that I cannot register the serial number as he already had?  Is there anyway around this...can he unregister it...or do I have to somehow get ahold of support...looks like they don't really support these guys anymore...Any help would be fantastic

The person you bought it from should be able to deregister the device in their my.presonus account under under Products > Hardware > and 'more details' under the device.

we really need a complete answer here.  we need the answer for if the person who you bought it from cannot be contacted. sure he should deregister it but what if he bought it from someone else too and there is no way to locate that person.  do you just throw the hardware you got in the garbage?  if you don't care about the software and just want the driver to have the product work as an interface there should be no restriction at all.  none.  you should be able to load it's driver and use it in 5 minutes.  just like scarlet or steinberg or maudio or ********* or any other interface on the market. Had I known this I never would have made any purchase from this unnecessarily restrictive company.
