Using Cubase 11 with VEP for heavy ASIO film work for Film /TV. While I like Cubase 11, I wondered if I shall try out Studio one too. My biggest complain / concern on Cubase 11 (Windows 10) with my i7 128 GB Ram with (8GB of nvidia) is the fact that whenever I have lots of VST Instruments and plugins and ASIO Load is pretty high (without audio dropouts) the workflow and GUI of Cubase becomes really slow to deal with. I have to start rendering everything into audio to continue mixing in a fluid matter.
I wonder maybe if that is a problem common to all daws and what are users experience with Studio one for heavy ASIO workflow and fluid GUI experience ?
I dream of a system that works like Pro Tools TDM many years ago (You could still work very fluid on its GUI and if they were audio spikes, you started to reduce the plugins) you your workflow would never be negatively impacted by a slow GUI when projects got big.
Any experience for this matter using newest Studio One on Windows ?
