Question

I am just starting to set up the RM16A1 which has a Dante SL-Dante -MIX Card installed.  The card output is connected to a PC via a MOTU AVB switch.  I have a Dante license.  I have downloaded the V7784 firmware.  According to the Presonus 825-SL0068-B manual re the Dante card, it states that I have to load the firmware prior to running the system.  I have the five firmware files on a thumb drive.    I understand I have to put the thumb drive into the USB jack on the RM16A1.  This is where I stop and need help.  Pp4 of the manual has instructions that do not match my RM16A1; shows having to press a "SYSTEM" button, etc. etc.  From pp4 on, I do not know what to do or how to do it.    What I need to know is, what steps are required, in order,  to set up my Presonus system as described.  I have  downloaded the "how_update_firmware/2943862" instructions, but that does not include a mixer that has a Dante card installed.  Please help.

There are TWO different Firmware update instructions for this setup. One is for the RM's firmware, the other is for the Dante Card firmware.

You MUST register your Dante Card to a Registered Mixer in your account. The first time this is done, there should have been a notice to follow instructions for Dante Firmware, as Presonus supplies the DNT firmware file for the update (via Option Card's product details in your account). Audinate supplies the Software for this process. Without this, the Dante is NOT configured properly and will not have proper channel names in Dante Controller and may not have any output signal as well.

After registering your card, follow the instructions to update your card from the Card's product detail page.
