I find studio one is far behind with video based production ,edits and their respective formats. MXF is an important way of sending multiple files to other video softwares like premiere pro so that separate tracks like foley, BGM, dialogues, etcs. can be packaged as mxf instead of exporting it into a single wav file,
Problems occur even when AAF is being imported into Studio one. It makes all the tracks, but no audio files are being generated. It's literally blank tracks in the session. And Studio one does not take video into consideration when opening AAF and just opens only audio tracks
No video track in the session as well. And also the video preview lags a lot if more than 50 stems are used. This has to be fixed.
When the video track is made full screen, it's menu bar above and below sticks around and thus we can never get full screen video with entire aspect ratio.
Multiple videos can't be imported. Really inconvenient if we are doing episodes based production.
Video compatibility has to be considered. More formats needed like mov other than just mp4.
