How to remove FXs from tracks when armed

I just bought the USB AudioBox 1818VSL. As long as the tracks are not armed, the audio from any of the tracks is clean. As soon as I arm a track it sounds like it has Reverb and Delay applied to the track. I have looked through all the settings I have found within S1v3 and within the AudioBox 1818VSL USB driver interface. Can anyone tell me where the FXs are coming from once a track is armed?

Thanks,   Brock

Here's what I think is happening. You're getting feedback due to a wiring issue. When you play back, are you playing back through the Audiobox on different channels? So for example, you're recording on channel 1 and 2 and then playing back on 9 and 10?

If the recording signal is getting back to the input, in a loop, you'll feedback and get the echo you're talking about. I'm imagining that you're using the mixers Left and Right output into the Audiobox and then using the output back into the board for monitoring?

That would create a feedback loop.
