Hello,

I'm new to S1, an engineer using it advised me to rather consolidate and bounce tracks than to export stems as there is quality loss when exporting stems. Is that correct as I have been searching throught the topics but didn't find anything about that concrete aspect?

The only difference between Bounce Selection and Export Stems from Tracks is that the track plugins, pan and volume will be applied as part of the Export.  That is not a loss of quality, but instead a further refinement of the audio information.  It's up to you to decide which is more appropriate.

I was also wondering whether I should bounce my tracks rather than export stems as every time I try to export my stems they export with no sound. If anyone knows how to fix this that would be great or if anyone could advise on how to bounce tracks instead? Any way to export the tracks so that there is audio would be helpful.
