It would be helpful to implement a gain match feature, much like some plugins do, but for the entire channel. The basic functionality would be to match the volume of the channel to what is was "before all inserts and sends." iZotope does a decent job of this, but of course, it's only for a specific plugin, not the entire chain. It should be an optional setting that can be toggled on/off, either globally, or per channel.
