I'm just trying out studio one prime with a samsung laptop running windows 8.1 and a yamaha audiogram 3 interface (very primitive!). However the problem i'm having is with something even more primitive; recording midi. I've set my Kurzweil Artis up as an instrument to receive midi, and it does. And as a keyboard to input midi. But although the little 'midi in' signal at the bottom left of screen is flashing when i play, no data is being routed to the instrument track created. No movement of the meter. The track is record enabled and configured to receive from 'all inputs'. What am i doing wrong?
