I know that I can set each Impact pad to a stereo or mono "channel", thus creating an individual channel for each pad. Then I can record the drum track on a single track and then Explode Pitches to Tracks to place each pitch (pad) on a separate track. BUT now I want to re-record a couple of the tracks by record arming two of the tracks, say track 1 (kik), and track 2 (snare), and play the new parts in simultaneously. Seems Studio One (6) wants to record both pads on both tracks.
I'm not talking about separate "channels" here. Rather I want to record separate "tracks" from Impact at the same time.
HOW!? I can't find any reference to such a procedure. Can you help?
