Why doesn't Studio One 6 recognise all the knobs and faders on my MIDI-Controller?

So, I have Studio One 6 and the MIDI-Controller KORG nanokontrol2.

When I try to use the premade Version of the nanokontrol2 mapping that's already selectable in the menu, everything works as intended. But I do not want use my MIDI-Controller to govern the mixing tab and use the faders for volume - instead I want to use it to control parameters of my own selection. Therefore I tried to add a new control device and I tried to use MIDI learn to customise my controller. But Studio One does not recognise all the faders when I try to use MIDI learn. It ownly recognises a few knobs and there is a massive time lag between me using the knobs and the software recognising it.

None of that is a problem when I use nanokontrol2 in the default mapping that is selectable when adding devices. But this mapping doesn't control the parameters that I need controlled.

Also MIDI learn did work normally when I was using Studio One 5.

I hope my explanation was somewhat understandable otherwise please tell me.

Do you have any suggestions on what I can do?

Thanks in advance and have a nice day
