I have a MacPro 2013 working with AVB and the studiolive 32sx on the built in ethernet ports. Im trying to migrate to a MacBook Pro m1max. I Know AVB won't go through USB so I just got a OWC thunderbolt 3 mini dock. I connected the Audio Network cable to the OWC mini dock and the recular ETH via a usb cable.
Its not working, it sees the Studiolive but it marks it as incompatible:
