Good afternoon,

I'm having trouble setting up my external synths for midi recording. I'm using a sub 37 Moog, sequential prophet 10, Komplete Kontrol MK2, and UA Audio Apollo x6 for my set up. I've added the synth devices via external devices but, I'm having trouble recording the midi information. I have the Sub 37 in channel 1(Receiving From Moog 37/Send to Moog Sub 37), Komplete Kontrol Daw CH: All (Receive From Komplete Kontrol S61 and Send to Komplete Kontrol S61) Komplete Kontrol Daw (receive from Komplete Kontrol Daw 1 and Send Komplete Kontrol Daw 1) Midi-OX Midi Channels All (Receive from Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 Port 1 and Send Komplete Kontrol S61 Port 1) Sequential Prophet 10 Midi Channels All  (Receive from Prophet 5/10, Send Prophet 5/10). If you can help with my external synth/midi setup, so I can record the midi information from my external synths into my DAW, that would be great! In addition, I have provided Screenshots of my external devices and audio setup. (PS I watched the YouTube videos and I'm still not getting the correct results).

Hi.

With all those inter-connections maybe invest instead in a midi patchbay?

An example would be the Roland A-880.

Much simpler and a lot more flexible.

There's a couple on eBay right now for £150ish.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

I've just been looking on the internet.

This looks interesting:

Miditech Midi Interface Midiface 8x8 MIT-00153 : Amazon.co.uk: Musical Instruments & DJ

Looks like you'd get up to 256 channels too.

But I've no personal experience of it and no idea how it would integrate into a DAW.
