I believe it would be beneficial to be able to save the current midi CC configurations of a track for hardware instruments as a sound variation or as a presonus preset for the hardware similar to the way studio one handles preset/state saves for software instruments.
This would allow for preset management for hardware instruments and midi capable outboard gear by recalling the midi CC information as a state save and presonus preset. This is particularly beneficial for hardware that does not have preset saves or limited capacity for saving presets and would also allow for sharing presets between users for hardware.
