It would be great to insert plugins on a channel/bus in insert slots to our preferred order, like Pro Tools, rather than all inserted plugins defaulting to a stacked placement, one after another (Example: I want to place a monitoring plugin as my last insert on a channel/bus with the intention of analyzing what each prior inserted plugin is doing to the individual sound; therefore, the monitoring plugin will take slot E, while every other inserted plugin will take slots A through D to my preference); without this feature we're left having to constantly rearrange each inserted plugin within the correct intended order.

Seconded…I rely on not just the effects, but effects in the right spot.  Generally I place either SSL 4KE or whatever in slot 5 on PT.

Adding designated slot assignments would speed up the process significantly and provide a consistent, repeatable, and reliable method of working in an analog workflow
