Question

I'd like to use SPDIF instead of the main analog output to connect my monitors to my Quantum 2626. Ideally I could do this with the Main volume knob just like the regular outputs. If that's not technically possible, a slider in Universal Control would also be okay.

I understand that to some this might be considered lowering the quality of the output, and I also don't care. I want to be able to control the volume from the unit.

Same for the Quantum HD2, though for this device it is possible to control the volume with a fader in Universal Control. But I think this must be controllable on the device itself, especially when device is in standalone mode.
