Using capture 2 and when we plug the firewire cable into the desk it makes the desk re-set itself often even if capture isnt open on the PC, we have installed a pre-sonus approved firewire card

Found the answer to my own problem

The problem occurs when using the firewire plugged into a computer

When running the desk in 48khz the desk does stage things and resets etc.

But when run in 44.1khz it is fine
