I am new to the StudioLive 32.4.2 AI - 2 days ago the i could get the effects to work and route to Sub3-4.  Today, I can't get ANY effects to work. To get started I followed the YouTube video and it worked like a charm!  But now, I don't hear ANY effects whatsoever.   Any ideas?

SOLVED!!!  I removed the I/O card. Attempted a power on and got the fail due to no card. Re-inserted I/O card. Booted up. Performed a reinstall of the latest firmware. After being told to power cycle and letting the board completely power up I used the preset ZERO BOARD.

I'm just typing EXACTLY what I did.

All effects busses are working now and the return a/b.

You can try the ZERO BOARD first and see what that does. If not, just do exactly what I said. ( even taking the card out and trying to boot with no card ... why not. )

I recently purchased a StudioLive 32SC (Serial Numbers: SD7E19050009) audio mixer, but I encounter the same problem on all available firmware for upgrade (i could get the effects to work on any input!) I installed one after the one this versions:

  • SL32SC_Firmware_2_0_15934 from Released: Mar 28, 2019;
  • SL32SC_v2_0_1_16038 from Released: May 21, 2019
  • as well as the latest firmware: SL32SC_SeriesIII_Console_2_1_1623 from Released: Jul 10, 2019.

 I tried all the effects and none of them work! If you do not release another firmware software for my device I am afraid I will return it.

I have live evenings every week and already all the artists I collaborate with are dissatisfied with this inconvenient!

Please delet the serial number to prevent misuse.

You need to raise several faders in order to hear an effect. Do this:

1) Raise the fader of channel 1 to unity.
2) Raise master fader to an appropriate level (no too loud...).
3) Go to FX A and raise fader 1 to unity.
4) Raise FX A send fader to unity.
5) Go back to main level and raise fader FX A return (the next after channel 32).

Now you should hear a lot of effect.

FX A send needs to be set to postfade. This is default setting, which is recalled by resetting project and scene.
