I have tested to play up the files from the media folder and there is sound, and they are, Wav 96/24. So why cant SO3 Proffessional play them? And what do I have to do to fix it?

I'm really in need of help!

Studio One will load and play any common *.wav format file (and some other formats) so if your files aren't loading or playing they're either somehow corrupted of they're of an audio file format that Studio One doesn't support.

When or if you report things like this it's difficult to answer if you don't provide any relevant information like where the files where created  and what format they are (wave, flac, or something else) or if they are of some bit format that some other workstation may export that Studio One may or may not support, like 64-bit floating point files.

This is a legitimate complaint. I am having the same problem after using Studio One v5.5.2 Mac Ventura for 3 years with no issue now Studio One can no longer associate Track View clips with the actual .Wav file on disk. The files haven't changed and the problem isn't limited to a single Track/.wav file. Studio One can no longer recognize any of the .wav files in any of the tracks in any of the songs and thinks they are all in the wrong format. After playing the file in the Studio One Browser->Pool view Studio One reassociates it with the track but still thinks its an Unknown Format.

Since you are asking

- All files are .wav files

- Yes they are in the right location
