I'm very pleased with Studio One. I'm on Mac El Capitan.
When I load some VSTs or AUs, like u-he Diva or hive I can't navigate in a convenient way through the presets. Instead of that, when I press the arrow key to move up and down through the preset brower, it moves the track, and switching the instrument. So I have to use the mousse. Some plugins are OK, but, for hive, it's a pain.

My VSTs and AUs are up to date. It works with Logic and Ableton.

As you can see below, my problem is exatly the same as the post below (forum archive).

So far I don't think there is a work around. I've been told that it's a plugin problem, but it works with other DAWs...

Hopefully there will be a fix. So the workflow can be increased.

Hey there, this should really be fixed because this is an absolute workflow killer. I work with Fl Studio and Ableton Live too and there everything works as expected and one can navigate with the keyboard through presets (e.g. Omnisphere).

I know there are not much votes on this issue but are there any plans to fix this?

I'm using Studio One 6.1.2 on a Mac and this issue has been bothering me for a while. I finally spent some time on it and have a workaround of sorts.

In Studio One Keyboard Shortcuts, there are simple "Up" and "Down" entries in the Navigation section. These are assigned to the up and down arrows, respectively. I changed the key binding to use something else (shift + "<" and ">") just to see if that would allow u-he Zebra2, Diva, etc. to "see" the arrow key presses, and it worked.

I'm not sure whether Presonus or u-he need to change something for the regular arrow keys to work when the plugin has focus, but there you go.
