Hello(: I was wondering if it's possible to exclude tracks for the arranger functions? I work in theatre and sometimes a drone, text or something else has to continue, but sound cue's and effects are specific for that scene.

The other question I have about the arranger function: is it possible to extend or shorten a arranger section and that the next sections follow? So the arrangement sections keep connected?

Thanks!

1. You can't exclude tracks (certain media) when dragging an arranger block directly to a Scratch Pad or using the copy function for that but you can just remove anything you don't want in it after the fact.  You can also select only the things you want (via marquee selection or selection range) and only drag what you want into a new empty Scratch Pad.

2.  You can, but not by sizing arranger blocks.

A:  Draw a selection range over any clip for the area you want to trim and ripple.

B:  Hit Edit > Select > Create Ranges to extend the range fully vertical.

C:  Edit > Delete Time.  This will remove everything in that vertical range, including that section of the arranger blocks, and close the gap.
