I purchase FP8

i have the 1.0 firm new version is 1.01 i buy my fader port the 23 fev 2017

when i load universal control it says the midi port of the device could not be found

i cant use the faderport 8  i try with uc 2 and others

pls help i'm in iMac 27 and sierra thanks a lot

Turn off your FaderPort 8.

Open the Audio MIDI Setup application. Finder > Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup.

Once you've opened the Audio MIDI Setup application go to Window > Show MIDI Studio.

Remove all FaderPort and FaderPort 8 devices from the MIDI Studio.

Power on the FaderPort 8 and try updating the firmware again from Universal Control.
