I have a Dell inspiron 15 5000, 1TB, 8GB, I5 running windows 10, newest version of Universal Control Audiobox driver.

I use Studio One 3 and Audiobox USB 2x2. I used to be able to change the latency by adjusting the buffer size through Universal Control.

My problem started yesterday. The thing is, right when I turn on the interface, I get a message from Universal Control: "Limited or no connectivity with audiobox". Studio One is working fine, but when I get to Universal Control, I can't access the settings like buffer size. Only an image with the "Audiobox" name appears, but no options, no settings, nothing I can change.

I've tried to restart de PC, reinstall the driver, Universal Control, but nothing happens. The "limited or no connectivity message" keeps appearing all the time and when it does, the PC audio pops.

What can I do?!?!

You may want to disable any Antivirus you have running and check any firewall settings so as Universal Control/UCNET has full permissions. You may also want to try uninstall/reinstalling your driver again. When installing the driver, select only the AudioBox USB driver to be installed. Use the following steps to fully uninstall:

> Disconnect the AudioBox from your computer.

> Go to Programs and Features, right click on Universal Control and choose Uninstall.

> Right click your Start menu and select "System".

> Click "Advanced System Setting" to the left.

> Click Environment Variables button.

> Click the New button for the top section on this window.

> For "Variable Name:" type this exactly.

devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices

> For "Variable Value:" enter a single number " 1 ".

> Click OK and couple times and then open the Device Manger.

> Click the View menu and check "Show Hidden Devices".

> Right click and Uninstall any "AudioBox", "PreSonus", "USB Audio Device" and or "Unknown Device" you see listed under any category.

> Restart your computer.

> Install Universal Control 2.1.1 - https://www.presonus.com/support/downloads/AudioBox-USB

If the issue persists, create a support ticket from your my.presonus account.

Hi!

In my case it was fault of Firewall. I had to add an exeption rule for application "Universal Control" in firewall options because it was blocked by firewall. It took a while to fnd the problem and solution but it works.

Good luck!
